Jonathan Tuckey Design Exhibition: Building on the Built
May 5th – May 18th 2016
This spring, JTD will host a short series of breakfast talks and evening lectures on the theme of ‘Building on the Built’ which, alongside a retrospective of the practice’s work, aims to create an on-going conversation about the opportunities and problematics of making architectural interventions within existing structures.
Our exhibition presents an array of models at various scales and states of resolution alongside drawings and photographs produced over the past decade by Jonathan Tuckey’s studio; fragments of individual interventions sit alongside larger ensembles of projects in their wider urban context. The exhibition includes work for the interior architecture of the nearby Gasholders development in King’s Cross.
For more information on the breakfast talks, chaired by Edwin Heathcote, architecture and design critic at The Financial Times, Kieran Long, senior curator of contemporary architecture, design and digital at the Victoria & Albert Museum and Chris Foges editor of Architecture Today and the evening lectures, please follow this link to the website Building on the Built
